Providing Solutions, Not Options

Gahhh 🙄...

We all know how annoying it is to get that “hey girl” message, or anytime we are made to feel like just a number 👥👥👥.

Here’s the thing... to be successful coach, ya gotta get personal! You truly have to lead with your HEART 💗 and with the goal of HELPING in mind in an effort to build up genuine relationships. 👭 You must be able to listen 👂 and then FIND SOLUTIONS that will address your customer's problems. The question you should ask yourself is this:

"What's in it for THEM?" 👏👏👏 Implement this question and allow it to guide you with how you connect to people. 🙆‍♀️ Ask them questions to discover all. the. things. Find out their "why", find out their pain points, find out their goals, find out what they want, find out where they'd like to be in the next 6 months, find out what would make it WORTHWHILE for them... 🔍🧐

When you do this, you will find that you are connecting more with your customers on that personal level. 🥰 You're getting to know them, you're also sharing your story and the conversations will just flow. There will be an emotional connection and that in turn builds more trust. 🤝 The conversations you have will be genuine and you will discover the JOY 😍 in actually inviting! It won't seem as daunting of a task because you will be creating long-lasting valuable relationships. 👯‍♀️

After you've been connecting and growing that genuine relationship you will want to transition into the 🌟 SOLUTION 🌟 that will help them based on what they've shared with you. Here is an example:

---

Hey {name}! So I've been thinking a lot about you because of how you want to reach the goal of {insert specific goal(s) here} but you {insert specific objection or concern here - ie. are afraid to get started because you lacked real accountability and then struggled to finish workout programs many times before}.

Well, I'm currently working with a group of ladies who also have the goal of {insert specific goal(s) here again} and I'd love the share with you how it's working for them. Would you be interested in more details about my accountability group and/or the program that is helping them reach success? Would you like to see if this might be a good fit for you so that you can {repeat goal or insert benefit here}? --- This type of follow up will address their pain points and remind them again of the goals that they want to reach. 💪 It's letting them know you were listening to their struggles and are genuinely interested in sharing something special that could potentially change their life. 🔥 AND you are stating what is in it for them. What THEY would get out of it and that they are NOT just another number to gain a sale. 👥👥👥

As you're speaking with them, you'll also want to remember, there’s no one-size-fits-all because every body is unique! Being handed a menu with 45 different options for programs and plans is overwhelming 🙃. Listen to your PC’s specific problems, needs, goals and even objections. Offer the SOLUTIONS (not just options) to their struggles. So when they come back interested in what you have to SHARE, instead of staying:

“Here’s a my link, take a look at the options.” -- try this instead 👇👇

Example 1:

NOT: “A lot of my challengers are seeing success with X, Y, and Z programs! Take a look and let me know which one you think would fit you best!”

INSTEAD: “I hear you saying you’re a busy working mom and it’s been a while since you’ve worked out. I believe THIS program would work well for you, because it takes only 30 minutes per day (let’s brainstorm together when you could realistically get it in), it’s a beginner program and has a simple, easy to follow meal plan that would work great even for family meals!” ---- Example 2:

NOT: “We have so many awesome and effective programs to choose from for intermediate level and low impact! My challengers love the variety and are reaching their goals. Here is the link to look at them and see which one you might like to try.”

INSTEAD: “Since you're looking for something to help lose those last 10 pounds, tone up your arms and is low impact for the knee giving you troubles... THIS program would be perfect! You don't need any equipment but maybe 1-3 lb dumbbells, there are 3 intensity levels and it's specifically created to help you get a lean toned body. Also, it's only 8 weeks so you'll be able to see fast results before your daughter's wedding in November!"

Can you see the difference? 👀 If your intention is focusing on the number and your agenda is on how many people you can get quickly, you're not going to come across genuine. You'll come across as desperate. 🙅‍♀️ Be willing to slow down, give them your true attention, take time to absorb the conversation and even re-read what they wrote. Put yourself in their shoes. It will only help you to attract real quality relationships with people that are more likely to join YOU and your challenge groups and team. 🙌

If they come back with an objection, remind them again of their goal and what's in it for them. 👊 Back it up confidently with assurance, whether it's a 30-day money back guarantee or by sharing a testimonial or relating to them in some way of how it has truly worked for YOU. Make them feel comfortable and also excited they are investing in themselves! This is the very act of being a coach and accountability partner - using positive reinforcement, encouraging them and nudging them towards reaching their goals. 🤩 They will see that you care about their health, have something special to share and you are their to SHARE it (not sell it). Be interested about giving SOLUTIONS - it's going to show in your invites, in your life, on your socials and in your business.
